Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve

At 8 o’clock you will be picked up from your hotel within Nairobi city centre /Westland’s and commence the drive to Maasai Mara via the great rift valley view point where you will have a breathtaking view of the floor of the rift valley. Then embark your journey, you will arrive in time for lunch at the camp. Check in and have lunch. In the evening at 4:00pm depart for a game viewing drive in the Mara Reserve which will be 2 hours. Ends at 6:00pm. Return back to the camp for a sumptuous buffet dinner ending with good time for resting at tented camp.

Dinner and overnight at Miti Mingi Eco Camp or similar camp.

Day 2: Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Reserve

Have breakfast at 6:30 am and at 7 am, leave for a full day game viewing in the park. On this day, spend the full day exploring Maasai Mara in search of the big five, hippos and Nile crocodile. Thereafter, go for picnic lunch in park under a croton tree shade overlooking the vast landscape of the park.

It is in the Mara that perhaps the most spectacular event of the natural world takes place: the great migration. This is the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebra from the Serengeti (in Tanzania) in search of water and pasture. Following on their heels are the predators of the savanna – lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and vultures.

Day 3: Depart Maasai Mara to Namanga

Breakfast and thereafter checkout, and drive back  to Nairobi then a small car will pick you and proceed to Namanga which is the border town to get  ready for the Tanzania part.

Accommodation at the Namanga River hotel.

Day 4: Namanga/Arusha to Manyara National Park

Drive to Arusha after breakfast and join a group to Manyara national park.

Manyara is 2 hours drive from Arusha and it’s a small park that you can do game drives for 2 to 3 hours. Game drive after lunch until evening.

Dinner and relax at the campsite

Day 5: Lake Manyara to Serengeti National Park

Breakfast then Leave for Serengeti. Arrive and start game drive en-route to the campsite.

More game drives afternoon until late evening

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Depart Serengeti at 7 a.m. Game drive en route to Ngorongoro Park with picnic lunch.

Day 7: Ngorongoro to Arusha

Breakfast at the lodge and thereafter proceed to Ngorongoro crater for a half day tour with picnic lunches.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area, national conservation area in the Arusha region of northern Tanzania, southeast of Serengeti National Park. Occupying some 3,200 square miles (8,300 square km), it extends over part of the Eastern (Great) Rift Valley of eastern Africa and contains a variety of habitats and landscapes, including grassland plains, savanna woodlands, forests, mountains, volcanic craters, lakes, rivers, and swampland. Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s largest unbroken calderas, is the most prominent feature of the park. Also located there are the major archaeological sites of Olduvai Gorge and Laetolil, within which were found hominin remains dating from 2.1 million and 3.6 million years ago, respectively.

Thereafter, check out and proceed to Arusha for dinner and overnight at Venus Premier Hotel.

Day 8: Arusha to Nairobi

Breakfast at the hotel and at 7 am, you are picked up by the shuttle and drive to Nairobi arriving at around 2:30 pm.
